A super highway is under construction in the Truckee Meadows to connect Interstate 80 with Highway 50, about ten miles east of Sparks.
The highway will be an 18-mile stretch of road leading to the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center.
The TRI center will be the nation's largest business park. included in the center is a one hundred million square foot Wal-Mart distribution center, expected to be completed by May of next year.
The U.S.A. Parkway will serve as the main artery for trucks to get in and out of the area. It is expected to be completed in 2007, with a price tag of $13 million.
