William Bee Ririe Hospital
William Bee Ririe Hospital is a fully accredited 40 bed hospital which provides inpatient medical, surgical, obstetrical, and ICU services, long term care, out-patient services for surgery, physical therapy, and respiratory therapy, and 24-hour, physician attended emergency room services. Great Basin College
Great Basin College is a member institution of the University and Community College System of Nevada and is accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges. For 35 years GBC has provided opportunities in higher education for central and northeast Nevadans. The College has also provided specialized training to local businesses and industries such as the mines, hospital, and education. GBC awards certificates of achievement, associate degrees, and select bachelor degrees using a variety of instructional methods. By advancing the academic and professional endeavors of the rural communities and by providing access to quality certificate, associate, and baccalaureate programs, GBC's mission of addressing workforce needs of the regional economy has been enhanced. Currently, the College offers bachelor degrees in elementary education, applied sciences, and integrative and professional studies.

Lehman Caves
Lehman Caves is a beautiful limestone cave with intriguing, unusual formations. Lehman Caves is one of the best places to see rare shield formations. Over 300 shields are known in Lehman Caves, more than any other cave. All of the cave is profusely decorated; stalactites, stalagmites, helictites, flowstone, popcorn, and other formations cover almost every surface of the cave.

Cave Lake State Park
Cave Lake State Park is 15 miles southeast of Ely via U.S. 50/6/93 and Success Summit Road. The 32-acre reservoir at Cave Lake State Park is popular for trout fishing, boating, picnicking and camping. Perched in the middle of the Schell Creek Range, adjacent to the Humboldt National Forest at an elevation of 7,300', the park offers outstanding scenic views and opportunities for nature study and photography. Facilities include campgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails and a boat launch. Winter sports such as ice fishing, cross-country skiing and ice skating are also available. Weather permitting, Cave Lake is open all year.

Nevada Northern Railway Museum
The Nevada Northern Railway Museum is dedicated to the restoration, preservation, interpretation and operation of the Nevada Northern Railway historic facilities, yards, and rail collection. This evolving museum gives people the opportunity to experience a world class historic working railroad.

Ward Charcoal Ovens State Historic Park
Ward Charcoal Ovens State Historic Park is known for its six historic charcoal ovens. These beehive-shaped ovens were used in the late 19th century to generate charcoal for use in the mines of nearby Ward. Today, the park offers limited facilities for picnicking and camping. Other features include forested woodlands, lush riparian areas and outstanding views of the Steptoe Valley and surrounding mountains. The park is located seven miles south of Ely via U.S. 50/6/93, then 11 miles southwest on Cave Valley Road. Cave Valley Road is a graded dirt road, accessible by passenger vehicles from May through October.

White Pine Golf Course
The White Pine County Golf Course is located just north of beautiful Ely, Nevada just off Highway 93 across from the Fairgrounds. With spectacular views of the Schell Creek Mountain Range on the east and the Egan Mountain Range to the southwest, you'll find a wonderful place to slow down, relax and play a few rounds. This is a regulation 18-hole, par 72, 6,843 yard golf course.

White Pine Public Museum
Acquisitions include: Historical Photographs - collections depict early towns, people, buildings, mines, businesses and lifestyles of the people of White Pine County and historical documents including newspapers, journals, ledgers, record books, maps, etc. to aid those researching White Pine County, NV.
