Bradley E. Woodring


Bradley E. Woodring is the Economic Development Manager at Sierra Pacific Power Company for northern Nevada. In this role, he collaborates with the development and real estate partners as well as Strategic Tactical Planning and Business Development groups to design and implement regional development plans and promote the area to companies to locate or expand in the Northern Nevada area.

Brad has worked with land developers, both commercial and residential, giving him a unique insight to the overall process of community development. He has served on many local boards, including the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada Board of Trustees, the Builders' Association of Northern Nevada, the Nevada Land Conservancy, Western Nevada Community College Foundation Board, Nevadaworks Board of Directors, and Western Industrial Nevada Board of Directors.

Brad is also very involved with community volunteer work serving as Chairperson for the Keaton Rafael Memorial Childhood Cancer Board, Past President of Reno Central Rotary Club, Boy Scouts of America volunteer, Childrens’ Cabinet Board member, and donating time to coaching his children in their various sports activities.

He is a 24 year resident of Northern Nevada, coming from southern California where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona.
